Minding that, our products are constantly in a developing state, where we strive to increase penetration rates, decrease the use of lubricant oils and increase the working life on entire drill strings. This means less influence on the surrounding environment as well as more lucrative business opportunities for all our customers.
It makes perfect sense that noise rock’s roots are largely American. The United States is a noisy country — it’s chaotic and violent, rude and seemingly always at war. And yet pop culture is one of its biggest exports, which appealed to Australian post-punks the Birthday Party. Newly relocated to London in the early ’80s, Nick Cave and company grew disappointed with the lackluster sounds of the UK scene at the time, instead taking inspiration from lowbrow Americana, creating a trash-culture caricature of a “Big Jesus oil king down in Texas” with this brutal vamp. Cave screams like a man possessed, Rowland S. Howard dials in a guitar tone that’s something like a file scraping against sheet metal, and the sickliest saxophone in the world cuts through the punk-blues spar session like a tainted syringe through a blow-up doll. It’s wretched and raucous, just like America.
Sportsmail’s verdict: 6th – Another middling season for Quins, but European qualification should be achievable. They’ll take some almighty scalps and lose inconceivably at least twice. Watch out for 18-year-old fly-half Marcus Smith – they are very excited about him at the Stoop.

In an expanding market, synthetic fuels could have curious effects. Since they’re made from airborne CO₂ and hydrogen and could be manufactured just about anywhere, they could rearrange the geopolitical order — tempering the power of a handful of countries that now control natural-gas and oil markets. The methane project in Rapperswil-Jona is especially suited for that country’s needs, Markus Friedl, a thermodynamics professor overseeing the project, told me, because Switzerland imports almost all of its natural gas, and its ability to generate energy from renewable sources is limited during the colder months. Carbon-capture-derived fuels, if they become cheap enough, could be a form of energy storage — made in summer, with solar or wind power, and used in winter — that carries a lower cost (and longer life) than batteries.
In the back of Daddy Dave’s Edmond, Oklahoma shop sits the remains of the original Goliath Nova after experiencing an accident on the strip. Although the tattered contortion of twisted metal is useless as a road car (much less a racecar), Daddy Dave lets it hang around as a parts car for the occasional one-off piece that may be necessary for the new Nova – Goliath 2.0 – or possibly as a reminder of what could have been that fateful August 2015 day. The new Goliath features a carbon fiber-titanium floor and Optic Armor glass – and a 632cid, big-block race motor from TRE Racing Engines to cap the focal-point of its existence.
Today, the most common method of constructing water wells is rotary drilling. The technique was developed in the late 19th and 20th century and uses a circulating fluid (usually a drilling ‘mud’) to support the borehole wall during construction and carry rock fragments back to the surface. Rotary drilling allows boreholes to be advanced to much greater depths than can be otherwise achieved with percussive methods.

But as Rick and Craig examine the spoils from H8, the rig responsible for hauling up the underwater soil clanks and shifts, and someone yells, “oh hell no!”
