This quality build is a level of craftsmanship too good for its own good – it’s really rare to find cars this immaculate down to the very last detail. As you approach it, the perfect mirror finish body appears to be completely void of even the tiniest blemish. Even the seams on the carbon fiber wrap around the bumper lineup almost perfectly. The seams are tight and uniform at every adjacent panel, the lowered ride height wraps the fenders aggressively around the wheels in a resultant look that’s just as at home at Laguna Seca as a pro-tourer as it is at Pomona as a quarter-mile blaster. The engine bay was spared none of the attention to detail with the 980hp LS7 from Wenger Motorsports; forced-induction from the Whipple twin-screws pump atmosphere into the monster while Holley handles the fuel delivery.

Paradoxical though it may seem, it’s probable that synthetic fuels offer a more practical path to creating a viable business for direct air capture.
